Living In Nature

Fumba Beach Lodge is a small-scale resort and offers only 26 spacious en-suite rooms. Twenty are deluxe ‘bandas’ with en-suite bathrooms, private terraces, stunning ocean and garden views, all suitable for families or couples. These are the so-called Garden View Deluxe Rooms and the Sea View Deluxe Rooms. Four of our rooms are Luxury Suites, and finally there are two special Baobab Suites.

All of our rooms are privately located within walking distance from the main buildings.

All of them have tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridges, mosquito nets, room safes, in room libraries, luggage storage, desks, fans, top-quality bed linen, laundry service, hair dryers and make up mirrors.

Deluxe Rooms

These rooms have an en-suite bathroom, either double or twin beds and a private veranda.

12 of the Deluxe Rooms have a phenomenal view over the ocean, the so-called Sea View Deluxe Rooms. In front of these rooms you will find a stretch of beach with sun loungers and shade provided by the palm trees and umbrellas.

The other 8 Deluxe Rooms have a magnificent view on the lush gardens; these are the Garden View Deluxe Rooms.

Some of the Deluxe Rooms are Interconnecting, which makes them a perfect option for small groups and families with children.

Luxury Suites

The four luxury suites all have a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath, his & hers wash basin and an outside shower.

A special feature is the private deck with hammock located in front of the rooms overlooking the ocean with direct access to the beach and a private roof terrace.

Baobab Suites

For the ultimate extravagance, spoil yourself in one of the two lodgings cradled around a 900 year old baobab tree. Their complete bathrooms are open to the elements and those two suites have direct access to the beach. The private deck with hammock is a nice feature that offers unlimited, private sunbathing. The Baobab Suites are also known as the Honeymoon Suites.
